Upper and Lower Kozakowice

Upper and Lower Kozakowice form one soletstvo Kozakowice that has population of 600 residents and is located on East from Goleszow, between Radon and Bladnica streams. Existence of these villages is documented already in 1305. Since 17th century Upper and Lower Kozakowice were distinguished and for some time even Great and Little Kozakowice. Current village division (Upper and Lower) appeared officially in 1900.
- Kozakowice was a home village for Andrzej Cinciala (1825 – 1898), national activist, author of “Dialectic Dictionary”, “Silesia proverbs collection”, “Silesia people songs from Cieszyn area”, “Diary” and many more.
